The Dog That Never Flew

The Dog That Never Flew

Those endearing eyes continue
to see what the sky has missed
When blue morning comes in
This time, I watch her running
and lapses of time force my vision
to a certain place and
there she crawls her very last
And laid still the morning after
Like it was now,
No clouds and no one to bring
her dreams where it started
and where tiny fairies play and wave
their magical hands to whom
below, anticipating the magical dust
And then we leave where we stand
clouds come to us and the sky looks
closer and it still looks ever blue
Like it was now
The frenzy wind builds up the
missing castles, Only now
they stand with fairies welcoming
Us
And there, dogs roam on
their own and speak the word
we know
And she speaks to me as
I listened like she did before
She never flew but runs freely
with the fairy clouds
And sometimes I would wait
for the sky to go or
Miss her even more
Like it was now.
