The Game Plan
7:30 - 9:00pm
Cuyler Boughner
In today's society we often don't take the time to get to know each other as people. We allow differences on issues to divide us and create conflict at home, in the workplace, and in other organizations.
By practicing positive group interaction skills, learning about the "humanness" of each other, and just plain enjoying each other's company through wholehearted efforts, trust, fun, and laughter, we can all become more successful in our lives.
Today, we will use our time in activities that foster better cooperation, creativity, team building and problem solving.
These activities are what we call "participatory games" and are effectively used by people who wish to strengthen their working relationship and group dynamics.
You will find that these "GamePlan" programs we will do are experiential. When people physically participate in problem solving experiences, the lessons learned about individuals and group dynamics tend to remain in the conscience for a longer period of time.
The activities are planned as to be "non-threatening," so even if you are naturally hesitant, or even skeptical, you'll find it easy to participate. In fact, it is essential for real team building to occur.
