You know you're an intellectual if.....

If you can argue for more than an hour about the
difference between semiotics and semantics.

If your main exercise is walking to the library.

If you worry about whether Aristotle's use of the term "hylomorphic"
was more materialistic or more idealistic.

If you don't know who is playing in the Superbowl.

If your friends get upset when you ask them:
"is semiotics hylomorphic?"

If you are more upset about the wording of the Supreme Court decision,
than who actually won the election.

If you are considering writing an essay in the semiotic analysis
of Aristotle's later work.

If they don't select you for jury duty because you a carrying
a book on quantum computing.

If you are worried about the difference between psucho-linguistics,
neuro-linguistics, and general semantics.

If you dicuss the difference between "judging the facts" and
"judging to accused" with the judge in counsel with the lawyers.

If you can't decide which coffeehouse to walk to.
