Opps... guess I missed yesterday and the day before. I had a good excuse! I was very busy. Wednesday, Sarah and I went to the gym to work out in the morning. I did pretty well, actually, and I had tons of energy afterwards. Came home and puttered around-- cleaning and watching Christopher Lowell. I also met that evening with my personal trainer for the first time. Ken is a typical Guy. He's 32, blond and beefy. The whole time he was talking to me, his eyes would look past me to scope out the "babes" around me. It was actually quite funny. I figured as long as I get out of him what I need, I couldn't care less who he looks at. He's not exactly much to look at himself, anyway.

Yesterday, I got up and went into school to finish closing my classroom. At least it's finished. Now I can actually have a vacation. Three whole weeks off, and then I get to go back and start prepping for next year. And you thought teachers had their summers to themselves... HA! I suppose I could just not work until it's time, however, I'd spend the entire first semester behind, which is not a good way to start the new year.

Anyway, I closed up my room and came home. Did some laundry, general cleaning, etc. Then, when Jason got home, he and Sarah and I all went out for dinner to a Mexican place. I hadn't been there before. The food was supposedly authentic, at least moreso than Taco Bell or Chi Chi's, but, as I came to find out this moring, did not agree with me. Or Sarah, for that matter. Oh well.

Today has been a rather lazy day, at least so far. I got up to catch the 8am Christopher and then puttered on the computer until 10 when I made my lunch and watched "Flowers in the Attic." I had never read the book or seen the movie before, so I decided to watch the whole thing. It was quite disturbing. Makes me want to read the book, as I'm sure it's better. I did get stuck on one thing, though. Kristy Swanson plays the older daughter in the film. Kristy Swanson AKA the original Buffy the Vampire Slayer. That whole idea got very surreal when, at one point, the younger of the 2 brothers was starving to death-- the older brother slit his arm and let the younger brother feed from his blood. I was waiting for Kristy to stake him. Actually, it might be fun to put those 2 movies in a blender and see what you come up with.

Luke Perry plays an over-protective vampire boyfriend who locks Buffy in an attic with a dead rat so she can't marry millionaire Pee-Wee Herman in "Buffy's New Beau Comes Out of the Closet." In theaters soon.

I'd see it.

Anyway, the rest of my day will consist of watching yet another Christopher Lowell, and attendaing a Brewer game with Jason. He won the tix from work-- the company has season tickets. Pretty good seats, too.

Tomorrow, we will continue our social-butterfly weekend by working out in the morning and attending a party at Jason's boss' house. Lunch at the house and dessert on the boat. Ahhh... what a difficult life. I'll give you the dish on Sunday. TTFN
