The Chaplet of the Trinitarian Creed

This Trinity chaplet is based on the ancient creeds of the Church, particularly the Nicene Creed and Apostles' Creed.

It is unusual in that it uses the "introit" beads (the extra black beads which hang off the main string) at the end instead of the beginning.

I have colour-coded the numbers to make it easier to tell which beads are used for which meditation.

	Meditation
T1	I believe in one God,
F1	The Father,
F2	The Almighty,
F3	The All-Holy,
F4	Maker of Heaven,
F5	Maker of Earth,
F6	Maker of all things, visible and invisible,
F7	The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob,
F8	The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
F9	The one who acts as both father and mother towards us.
T2	And I believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the Son of God,
S1	Who for us and for our salvation came down from Heaven,
S2	Conceived by the Holy Spirit,
S3	Incarnate through the Virgin Mary,
S4	Was crucified under Pontius Pilate,
S5	Suffered, died, and was buried,
S6	And on the third day rose again, in accordance with the Scriptures,
S7	And is seated at the right hand of the Father.
S8	He shall come again to judge both the living and the dead,
S9	And his kingdom shall have no end.
T3	And I believe in the Holy Spirit,
H1	The Lord and Giver of Life,
H2	Who proceeds from the Father and the Son,
H3	Who with the Father and the Son is both worshipped and glorified,
H4	Who rejoiced at the Father's side in creation,
H5	Through whom the Son became incarnate,
H6	Who spoke through the prophets,
H7	Who fell upon the Church at Pentecost,
H8	Who inhabits each believer and all believers,
H9	Who empowers and encourages.
I1	And I believe in one holy, universal and apostolic church,
I2	I acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins,
I3	And I look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.
