Unlike the other chaplets, this one involves some repetition - the Seven Words are repeated between each cruciform bead. It also turns the beads upside-down and backwards, in a sense; the first cruciform bead is at the top rather than the bottom, and the "introit" bead is last instead of first. (I am assuming that you will work clockwise around the beads.)
The traditional Seven Words (i.e. sayings) of Christ on the Cross are arrived at by compiling information together from all the Gospels. He may, of course, have said other things which were not recorded.
I also have a meditation on the Five Wounds which gives more associations to work with.
