The Prophet, Priest, King and Servant Chaplet

Back to Biblical Chaplets

Muslim prayer chaplets are often 33 beads in length (the full-size one is 99, but you can use 33 and go around three times), and are used to meditate upon the 99 names of God, which is what gave me the idea for this chaplet. It is based on 33 titles of Christ, mainly from Revelation with a few from John's Gospel (my favourite - it is, after all, the intuitive gospel), and a couple from other sources (Hebrews and Isaiah).

If your beads are in a different colour order (assuming you use the colours), the order of the meditation should still be the same, as I didn't associate this meditation with the four personality aspects specifically.

I revised this chaplet extensively on 26 September 1998 while putting in the references, which are to Revelation unless otherwise specified.
