Windows on Nelson

On a holiday trip to the beautiful city of Nelson, New Zealand (where some of my ancestors lived), I happened to take two photographs of round windows. The one on the left is the view through the moon window of the tea house in the Japanese gardens (a sister-city project); the one on the right, one of the rose windows in the cathedral.

I thought the juxtaposition was interesting - East and West, earth and heaven, green and blue, path and destination....
