Leech and Associated Families

My mother was a Leech, a Scotch-Irish family emanating from Scotland, thence Ireland>MD>PA>Carolina>AL>TN>AL>TN>LA and perhaps a few other places. They were members of the large clan of such folk who largely peopled the states south of the Mason Dixon line. The Leech men (and women for that matter) usually took Scotch-Irish spouses, and in fact I have yet to find an ancestor who married outside of that ethnic group.
