One day at lunch in August 1998 (my senior year!), two of my friends and I were eating at our finally established table. Anyway, I believe the menu consisted of chicken patty and the other choice, which I am sure of, was turkey club. However, one of my friends was upset with the turkey club choice"
"They just don't know what a turkey club is, do they? A turkey club has lettuce, tomatoes, onions..."
And I said:
"No. A turkey club is when a bunch of turkeys get together and they start having a party! Now THAT'S a turkey club!"
Then my other friend said:
"No, you're both wrong. A turkey club is when on Thanksgiving and your little brother is bothering you, you take a drumstick and hit him over the head with it. Now THAT'S a turkey club!"
