ABOUT MY LIFE... My life started on a thursday at 9:45 AM, under the Sign of Taurus, in the 16th Year of Showa Period, and it was the year of the Snake. I was the last of four sons, but now we are only two. Until 7 I lived in a small but ancient (more ancient than Rome!) and nice town in Center Italy, perched on the top of a hill and surrounded by medieval walls, not far from the sea. When I was 7 my family moved to the North, where I lived till now, also if with several periods abroad (like now) and where I have my home. I did thousand works: labourer at Italian TV (the RAI), shop assistant, barman (I did good cocktails), interior designer, archives keeper, secretary, design and fashion technology teacher, silk painter, electronic technician, postman, itinerant salesman, proof reader... and I never become wealthy. But I don't complain at all! I married, had a son who is now married (and so, soon or later, I'll become a grandfather and feel older!). I divorced and now I'm again a single. But happy to be one, also if I love a lot gathering. Here in Tokyo I teach Italian to Japanese people: Language and Culture, because they are strongly connected and related. I love teaching. It compells me to "revise" continually my own knowledge and thinking, and this contributes to "stay young" if not physically, mentally and spiritually. In the same time I'm doing a research on Haiku at Tokyo University. Haiku is a kind of Japanese traditional short poem (17 syllables) that I love deeply. Or, to better say, I was doing that research, until I started to build this house of mine... What I will do in future... only God knows! |
SOMETHING ABOUT ME... I'm 55 years old, 175 cm (5'9") tall, 78 kg (12 stones 4). I have medium brown hair but a quite white beard. My eyes are hazelnut with green sparkles, but became green with hazelnut sparkles in May, near my birthday. In those last weeks I couldn't update my pages as I would have liked to, for several reasons. One being that I was without my beloved computer for 16 days... But the main reason is that I started a new homepage. Not being happy with my too little appartament in Tokyo, I decided to build this virtual house you are visiting. But then, being not happy with this too big metropolis I'm living in, I decided to build a virtual town: Theorema Town. If it is a big work to build a house, I let you guess how BIIIG is the work of building a town. My idea was to make a town made of house-like homepages. So I invited some friends or people I've met in the Net, to join me in this adventure. And the answer was quite enthusiastic. The town I started is now growing naturally. I just decided the general layout of the fields, but each new citizen chooses where to build his house so the City layout will not be decided by me but will be the result of a multiple choice. And new citizens bring new ideas, new life to the community. The first people who joined me, the co-founders, constitute the City Council and we democratically decide together about the City life. It is true that I'm a self-appointed Mayor, but I'm also a democratic one... So, if you just click on the plate, you can go to Theorema Town and visit it. And if you like it, you can apply to became a citizen, or just to stay at our hotel as a guest. |
