God's Menu Imagine you are going to the best restaurant in town. You walk in, receive the best service and sit down. You take the menu offered which lists the most delicious dishes imaginable. Your stomach growls just at the thought of the scrumptous food. But you don't order anything. You just sit there for an hour or two looking at the menu. Then you get up and leave. What's wrong here? Now, imagine your Bible is the menu. It is filled with everything we need to know. In it is written all that God wants us to use so that we can prepare the way for His second coming. So that He can come and take His children to that glorious place prepared for us by Him. His Word lists what we can apply in this life so that we can have a little taste of what heaven is like. Call it a taste of Heaven on Earth. But all we do is look at it and don't try it! Not very clever is it? How many times do you tell yourself: "I know it's not right, but everyone does it." Or do you think up excuses not to do something that you know in your heart, God wants you to do so that His glorious will for your life can be done? Do you think: "As a child of God I know I should do it, but I just don't have the time". This is what happens when we look, but don't eat.
