(9/96) Santa's Secret Shop is a fund-raising event for the PTA. For three days in early December, children take a shopping trip to the Cafeteria to purchase inexpensive crafts that were designed and created by parents. The majority of items sold are less than $5.
(9/9/96) Santa's Secret Shop is held annually in late Fall. Parents and other volunteers complete projects that are then sold to the children in a boutique atmosphere.

(9/96) For all of you who are new to Monte Vista, Santa's Secret Shop is a store held in early December where the students can come and shop for their family and friends. It's a great fund-raiser and lots of fun for the students.
Thanks to all of you who helped with projects during the summer. We will have a few more workshops to finish up projects. It's fun and easy so please join us! If you wish to do a project at home, please contact us. If you have a project you wish to donate, it would be greatly appreciated.

Santa Secret Shop-'96
(4/25/96) PTA's Santa's Secret Shop will hold it's first workshop on April 30 in the School Lounge. Please come to volunteer. Several projects will be worked on during this time including Snowman Bookmarks (painting). It's so easy and fun--so please join us. Contact Ileana Geestman or Barbara Kaufmann if you have any questions or suggestions for projects.

(5/96) Calling all parents and creative friends to participate in making 1996 Santa Secret Shop a magical experience.
Thanks to some really enthusiastic helpers and parents, we have lots of wonderful projects. We will continue having "CAMP" workshops monthly, even through the summer. Each workshop will be announced in Paw Prints and posted on the PTA Bulletin Board.
Help Wanted: People for ... sewing (toll, fabric, just for fun), painting, home projects, gluing, cutting, and no brainer projects.
These items on the wish list are needed to complete some of the projects. If you can donate anything (access to discount merchandise, etc.) please contact us. Also, start saving empty 1 lb. coffee cans with lids, bottle caps, contact paper, and fabric remnants. A box will be in the main hallway to collect these items.
As mentioned, we have lots of wonderful projects and are always looking for super ideas. We look forward to making the fund-raiser fun and successful!

If you can only join us for an hour, that would be wonderful. If you would like to do a project over the summer, please call us. We have the right project for you.
