What is Scrip?

(9/96) Scrip is a fund-raiser for the Foundation. Gift Certificates are used at face value ($20 in cash = $20 in scrip) at either Von's or Ralphs.

Foundation Scrip

(9/26/96) Thanks to all those who supported the Scrip program and continued to purchase Scrip over the summer. Scrip will be available in the following locations this year:

Sutherland & Scherff, 2947 Foothill Blvd. (Mon.-Fri. 9-5 PM)
Crescenta Valley Custom T-shirt, 3131 Foothill Blvd. (Mon.-Sat. 9-6 PM)
Kyle Studebaker's home (call first)
Karen Haleen's home (call first)
and in front of Monte Vista every Friday from 7:45-8:15 AM.

Ralph's, Von's and Sparky's markets all offer 5% discounts to Monte Vista when we purchase our groceries using SCRIP from their stores. We win, they win. Our school earns money for simply doing something that we were going to do anyway, buy groceries! So remember..... SCRIP=GROCERIES, SCRIP=GROCERIES, SCRIP=GROCERIES. And so on and so on! It's an easy way to support our school and it does not cost you anything! Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or ideas on how we could improve our program! (6/13/96) Our scrip sales have been great this year--$156,985 with a net profit of $7937! Way to go Monte Vista! Below is a list of five locations that will see scrip over the summer. Special thanks go to: Barbara Kaufmann, Karen Haleen, Thais Herrington, Nancy Riehl, Neal Carlos, Todd Thornbury, Lisa Corbett, Carol Young, Cort Baker, Patty Bingham, Susie Scherff and Joyce and Ralph Thurston for helping with our Program. Foundation Scrip Program

(6/20/96) Summer is here, so is our Summer Scrip program. We hope to maintain strong sales throughout the summer. Scrip will be available at the five locations noted below. Please don't hesitate to contact any of the individuals or businesses indicated when you need Scrip. Please feel free to contact Kyle Studebaker should you have any questions regarding this program.

Von's and Ralph's grocery $crip can be purchased every Tuesday and Friday before and after school. $crip will be available at the following locations during Summer Break:

Crescenta Valley Custom T-Shirt, 3131 Foothill Blvd., Suite D (Mon-Sat, 9-6 pm Wed 9-8 pm)
