Week Trip to Chile

Materials
pen, pencil, computer, internet connection if possible, guide books for
Latin America
Activity
Describe a two week tour of Chile in July of 1998. Start your trip from
Seattle,Washington. Pick and chose those things that you think would be
most interesting to visit. Then write a budget. Be sure to include :
a. the cost of a round trip ticket
b. cost of clothes you may buy in the USA or in Chile.
c. cost of food on a meal to meal basis
d. the cost of each part of the trip in US dollars and Chilean pesos.
e. cost of tours, taxis,, laundry, hotel rooms etc.
f. a conversion table for changing dollars to pesos and pesos to dollars.
g. cost of different goods from different parts of the country.
h. souvenirs y "cosas tipicas" that you buy for gifts
i. post cards, letters, phone calls etc.
Remember that all this must stay within a $60. dollar a day budget.
Your final paper will include an itinerary and a budget - both in US and
Pesos.
