Bibliography

During my recent Pilgrimages to Walsingham I picked up as many books, tracts, and pamphlets as I could. These works form the basis of my factual information regarding the Shrine. From this humble beginning grew the desire to locate I hope to create a comprehensive, if not exhaustive, bibliography of primary and secondary Walsingham, to eventually include any books having a reference to her. If you know of any that do not appear on the list please let me know so that I may add them to the list. Features of special merit will be noted, when appropriate.

In August of 1997, from the 19-22th I returned to Walsingham, and was priviledged to be allowed access to the College's Marian Library. With this valuable resource, I was able to add new citations, and to fill in previously incomplete. My thanks go to Fr. Martin, the Shrine Priest, the staff and residents of the College, and Peter Dixon and the other Guardians of the Shrine for allowing me the use of the Library.

I am aware that other, more comprehensive bibliographies of Our Lady of Walsingham exist, but to my knowledge, none exist on the Internet. Until such time as a more substantial Internet Biblography of Walsingham becomes availible, I will continue my efforts to transcribe and preserve citations of the written record of Our Lady of Walsingham. send your suggestions

I am attempting to follow AARCR2 guidelines with an eye to preserving items that may not have any other record. The citations will be cleaned up from time to time.
