TENDER VOWS

THE VOWS

His Vows

As I stand and look into your eyes
I make these vows, to you, that I'll live by
They are not laws that have been decreed
But, are vows I think we both shall need
To help our union, today we will join
To live in harmony not only as individuals
But, also as one...

First, for you, I'll give respect
For your mind and thoughts I want to share
Next, the precious gift of time
Will now be ours, not just mine
To spend our time together is only right
And I cherish the thought of holding you each night...

I swear to you on this our wedding day
That I'll take care of all your needs
And keep all your fears at bay
I'll keep you clothed, groomed and fed
I'll tend to your needs at night, before my head hits the bed
As we travel this new path we take in life
I want you to be happy you have chosen to be my wife...

Her Vows

I, too, have made some vows I promise to make
Knowing the importance of marriage is both give and take
I'm willing to share my life time with you
Will work to make the dreams we share come true
I'll be your partner and your mate
I will always be your best friend
And work with you through thick and thin...

Like the pair of hawks we've watched in the sky
I'll tend to your needs and stay by your side
My thoughts and feelings I'll always share
I never want you feeling empty due to the lack of my care
I'll care for you each day and night
The love we share will always be right...

Today we will be joined together as one
To shoulder the same burdens and share the same fun
I'll lay with you and keep you warm
I'll always try my best to keep you from harm
So as our journey begins
To me - My Love, there will never be an end
