The Grail Under the Double Rainbow: Part Eleven

The Monuments of Venus, Part Three: Comments and Speculations

The images on the two preceding pages have enough consistency that I've felt comfortable putting them on the web for others to look at, but they have had to have that much consistency, because what they imply goes against the grain of much that we presume we know, not only in the general sense, we have simply supposed there to have never been life on neighboring planets, but also against the grain of details that have been used to support that view.

In a sense, the images themselves deserve at least the minimum of attention they will receive here. I've looked at more images. MG 0033 is a particularly remarkable series of images. A city with seven faces, two or three more balances, a stylized Egyptian papyrus to support the discovery of the "scepter" or "paper burnisher" design that is shown in Part 10 of this series.

In MG 0033 C130N207 at center left, you can see the double scroll of a papyrus design, perceptible even in the original image, which has a lower contrast setting than other images.

(One image I'm presently trying to relocate is the one that would appear directly above the first of the MG 0010 images that has a form like the astrological glyph for Leo (there is a snail visible in the frame below it, the second of the MG 0010 images as a thumbnail, which disappears with a closer look). I'd talked myself out of thinking the Leo glyph was unnatural, and I've misfiled the image that shows this Leo glyph lies in fact below another Leonine form, which may prove to be the grandfather of all sphinx faces.)

"Houston, we have a problem": Capricorn One v4.0?

I've noticed an interesting thing in the latest Scientific American "Future of Space Exploration" quarterly- A picture of "Maat Mons" on Venus. After all the images of "ma'at", the Egyptian balance, that seem to be carved onto Venus, where did the official naming types come up with that rare name? Am I not alone in noticing these things after all?

Nonetheless, one of the questions that has arisen, and one I've been aware of since the beginning of my work with the Mars images and the Magellan Venus images, is the scale of the objects that appear. Some of the objects may be perhaps the size of a smaller state such as Washington or Carolina, perhaps even larger. An image of a balance dominates an entire image in the MG 0045 series. We are told this would span numerous degrees of longitude, possibly as large as the state of Texas.

Depending on what state of retreat the frozen material of the south pole of Mars was in at the time the source image for the city was taken, and the precise latitudes that it spans, we may have a city or "castle"- which has an identical twin in the Venus images- that could be as much as 800 miles across with a tower some hundred miles high- perhaps far too large to possibly exist.

This work builds up to this by mentioning the Templar geometry whose figures have likewise been known to span hundreds of miles on earth, and we indeed have great human artifacts on earth that can be seen from space, the Great Wall of China being one. However, it should be kept in mind that while these pages are an experiment in treating the artifacts images as genuine, at least for want of a tangible motive for their falsification.

While there is no mistaking may of the artifial objects depicted with careful inspection of enhancements and derivatives of the originals, and the first suspicion of falsehood might be that we have been drastically misinformed of the scale of some of these images, what we see in these images may turn out to be more of the possible mischief that inspired the story of "Capricorn One"- the premise that we never went to the moon, that the landing was faked on a Hollywood set.

If that is the event, if these NASA images are an elaborate fraud, this should not be forgotten. Charges of fraud should be leveled at the parties responsible, and we all need to have a serious look at whether we can ever trust future missions in space to an organization that has been distributing perhaps countless falsified images to the public to whom it belongs. None of us may have ever seen a real, undoctored image of Venus, and this extends to some degree to many images of parts of Mars.

A remaining possibility is more troubling- that these images are entirely genuine and correctly scaled, for they would show a relatively small population who could accomplish unheard-of feats of terraforming with apparent magical ease.

While it's possible that over thousands of years they could have reached such levels of knowledge and skill, even believable, and while this makes it easier to believe they may have, in their time, made Venus and Mars to be habitable to humans, it makes it much harder to believe they could not prevent, using these powerful world-shaping skills, whatever disasters seemingly caused their disappearance from those worlds.

One way or another, these are still very challenging riddles, and we desperately need real answers, as soon as we can get them, and we may have to turn to history, or ourselves and each other, not NASA, for these much-needed answers.

At least of the time of the first publication of Richard C. Hoagland's "The Monuments of Mars", even the most accomplished proponent of signs of life on Mars has had trouble extending that premise to Venus, and with sound scientific reasoning in doing so, who could blame him?

On the other hand, if these images are not the result of agencies adding in as much to photos as they have been accused of taking out in order to suppress signs of extraterrestrial life, they are still left to be contended with even within that sound and scientific framework.

Rather than quote immeasurable volumes of speculative material on interplanetary contact here, let's at least try to start over fresh for the sake of being concise.

Fortunately, one thing I do not worry about is reputation or credibility. I can speculate without "career-oriented" restrictions. Let the facts and logic speak for themselves to those who can hear them. People can always ignore, and often do, what is the farthest cry from the "kiss of death" for extraterrestial science, no matter how impeccable or airtight the material or the reputation of its advocates. I can, and will, speculate to my heart's content here. Why leave stones unturned in a search?

Two of the greatest problems with the existence of life on Venus are that the atmosphere, dominated by carbon dioxide, is thought to be so lacking in nitrogen as to make the sort of life as we know impossible. The second is that the climate is thought to have long been extremely inhospitable to life as we know it, reaching temperatures as high as 900 degrees Farenheit, or more.

In spite of this, there is so much evidence of life on Venus, and intelligent organization of objects, the planet gives a very strong impression of having been heavily populated- not a base or a stop-over point, but a true home to apparently human beings.

One ready solution to these problems with what the images show is that Venus has, in spite of the prevailing view, not been as it is thought to be now for as long, and that these relics, even if relatively recent, predate the prevailing conditions on Venus in the here and now.

This solution also fits well with some of the established catastrophic records of the solar system, including the "mythological" ones. It's very conceivable that humanity began on earth, spread to Mars and Venus, and then due to some disaster evidenced by the countless craters on these worlds but not on Earth, and the massive asteroid belt within our solar system. The Earth may have escaped them, and any inhabitants may have escaped to Earth, or perhaps elsewhere outside the solar system. It's also conversely possible that human life could have begun on one of these worlds and migrated to the other and Earth, perhaps at the time of this cataclysm. This would easily account for the sudden appearance of cultures, including the Egyptians, whose icons dominate the monuments of Venus and Mars.

Another possibility, perhaps less plausible, is that when human life began, the prevailing conditions on our neighboring worlds were not inimical to life as we know it, in the sense that we may have had to adapt to the present conditions on Earth. While we are oxygen breathers, our plant life breathes the same carbon dioxide that dominates the atmospheres of both Venus and Mars. Many microbial life forms are not oriented to oxygen, and are able to withstand temperatures much higher than we could find on Venus in any event. Most of all, the crushing atmospheric pressure that is supposed to exist on Venus must in its own way be very similar to the crushing pressures in the deeper ocean, which even the simplest of creatures there have the ability to withstand.

So there was life on Venus, and there was not.

So here we are. There was apparently life on Venus, plenty of it. Human life. Animal life. The Magellan photos have sat for a decade, and even with the Face On Mars' notoriety, who's thought to look, because we "know" that life could never have existed on Venus. That, of course, is the very same thing that was said about Mars. Why do we take these things for granted?

It's a great relief, in fact that we don't have to contend with the usual about alien races who would have crossed light years using mere jet propulsion, no doubt a good part of what managed to ingratiate Richard Hoagland with Erich Von Daniken, at least at the time of the writing of "The Monuments of Mars", because we have enough questions to contend with. What happened, why did it happen, when did it happen, and who did it happen to, and could it happen to us?

That is, presuming there isn't intelligent life on Venus right this very moment.

Most of all, I'm personally very anxious to look back in retrospect and wonder is this one more thing that the ancients and the Natives have been trying to tell us all along for hundreds and thousands of years, only we've forgotten how to listen, to wonder, and to believe?

First of all, is life really as unbearable on Venus at present as we think it is? I've already hazarded the speculation that our calculations about Venus' conditions could be incredibly wrong, and I have done so by suggesting that the key to true, accurate data might be putting Richard Hoagland's hyperspatial physics, the physics derived from the Martian monuments, into practice.

I'm suggesting that much like the case of Nikola Tesla having been the only one who could receive radio signals from Mars, because he was using scalar technology, that scalar technology might be required for these accurate measurements, and not suprisingly, in the last year or so Richard Hoagland's quest into the hyperspatial physics has embraced Tom Bearden's physics- physics based on the technological feats of Nikola Tesla.

Also relevant is the possibility that the planetary energies that our science cannot account for either, which Hoagland relates to the hyperspatial physics, could well be scalar in nature. The sun has long been a grand example of sending power by wireless, a feat is also a major central feature of Tesla's supremely energy-efficient wireless feats.

There are several pages on the www that have some coverage of the fact that there have been scientists who got a different picture of Venus, one in which the temperature may not exceed 110 degrees Farenheit in some places, and the kinds of odd peculiarities of heat aren't unfamiliar to someone who gardens indoors- I've burned plants of all kinds by allowing them to touch the cold florescent light tubes that provide their light.

Here is a quote of relevant text from one copy of one of these works, by an unknown author: "The physicists William Plummer and John Strong stated that Venus may have large areas of bearable temperatures. The regions near the Venusian north and south poles would be much cooler than the areas reportedly monitored by space probes. Furthermore, according to Professor Alexander Lebedinsky, in the Soviet Union, in data suppressed by the United States Pentagon complex, the usual surface temperature of much of Venus must be about 110 degrees Fahrenheit, even though "radio---electric" measurements indicated 700 or more degrees. Similar observations can be made on the relatively COOL surfaces of gas tubes used in neon signs, because the radio--electric equivalent of those tubes is also several thousand degrees!"

All of this is presuming, of course, that life on Venus couldn't adapt to the atmosphere, temperature, and pressures that many creatures on earth have adapted to, and in the end this is largely only because the picture of a hundred thousand humans in space suits on the surface of Venus carrying a trillion buckets of dirt to build monuments six miles across like the preposterous portraits of "primitive" mound building native North Americans is just too hard, too idiosyncratic, to accept.

The same work continues:

"Furthermore, highly intelligent dolphins, with a brain capacity larger than the humans are underwater in an environment that would kill us humans very quickly without a dive suit and oxygen supply. These dolphins would also die within a half hour in our atmosphere, which is deadly to them! This proves that flesh and blood physical intelligent beings can live in an environment that would kill us and vice-versa! So how can so-called "experts" claim that intelligent life absolutely cannot live in another kind of an atmosphere on a different planet? Furthermore, 7,000 feet under the ocean in pressures that would instantly crush us humans without a heavy diving suit, biologists have found crabs, shrimps, snails, and worms living in 530 degrees F. temperatures, and large worms living in poisonous chemicals from vents erupting from the sea bottom. These creatures ate the deadly chemicals to live! (Honolulu Advertiser newspaper, June, 1990). This discovery proves that heat and pressures and chemicals that would kill us are perfectly livable to types of physical beings."

Not exactly "big science", but the point is valid, eloquent, and well taken here.

For those who will read the entire work with open and yet discerning minds, it can be found on the web at http://www.pufori.org/venusians.htm , as well as other web sites. There are some interesting and compelling contents.

While being as ever the metaphysical consumer advocate, I'm tempted to warn you to overlook the content of ancient legends about Venusian Viking types coming to have their way with naieve and adoring earthwomen, lest you turn away from the whole content in disgust or disbelief and overlook real gems that are there- my experience with ancient lore indicates there's always tongue-in-cheek twists over the grain of basic truth, although the history keepers have been story tellers who also like to be funny- maybe I understand their peculiar peppering of ancient history with amusing twists instead of actual facts when I consider that here this mischievious humor may be the medicine to balm the incomparable pain and heartache and dread of a true tale of the loss of two-thirds of human habitation of the solar system in a single cataclysmic disaster.

Perhaps another illustration of how our readings of the temperature of Venus could be erroneous, is that they may be somewhat analogous to the effects of sticking a metal thermal probe in a microwave oven. The metal of course will spark and flame and probably register incredible heat, and yet the actual temperature inside the microwave, and that of other materials in it, would in reality be very different. This is an extreme example, but it is a relevent one, especially when we are suggesting that possible hyperspatial physics or the wireless science of Tesla, of which this is a fine corroborative example, may have to be fully applied to obtain true, accurate readings.

Notably, as part of our revulsion to such a picture of primitive manual laborers in high-tech space suits, these people seem to have had powerful earth-shaping and terraforming technology- The very technology we will need to help man succeed on other worlds beside the earth, and it's not too late for us to obtain it from them and their example. This alone is a major fraction of the importance of the discovery of signs of life on Mars and Venus.

Even those of us who have, for many reasons, adopted a somewhat disdainful attitude toward the "Chariots of The Gods" genera, in spite of the great debt to Mr. Von Daniken which I personally acknowledge, may begin to find these collections of solar system history very handy in trying to peice together a history of Venus life from our own recorded history.

(The irony is that Hoagland's criticism of Von Daniken, while it's perfectly understandable coming from someone who has long battled every day for the legitimacy of the Cydonia case, is that he's not enough of a scientist. My criticism of Mr. Von Daniken- the same going for Zecharia Sitchin- might be that he's too much a scientist, and not enough a mystic to believe in the almost unlimited capabilities of the ancients. The "everything is a rocket-radio-ray gun rut", where all space travel is jet propulsion, or all that is round is a space helmet really isscience, impeccable science, any yet it's just what's wrong with science. It's nice, safe, scientific, conservative, realistic- it doesn't see anything out there technologically that we can't prove by having the same thing right in our hands. In short, it may have brilliant sight, provided the world grants it permission to see past the nose on its face, and leaves the world of the ancients little or nothing to offer us that we don't have already. We don't find Mr. Von Daniken reading of magic cauldrons that materialized things, and declaring that the aliens had materialization technology, the "loaves-and-fishes" part of his alien angels, even though it's the obvious extension. Perhaps someday we will. It's been a motto that's never failed me that "nothing is too wonderful to be true".

Tom Bearden's Tesla technology, the ancient technology of the Martian monuments, does provide for such things as materialization, and in fact virtually every mystical phenomena known to man, although the scientific mainstream has been willing to declare Bearden's efforts, which Hoagland praises, as anything but science. Bearden's astonishing and selfless efforts were once mercilessly slammed in a major science magazine without any cause whatsoever, by "those who know more".

The irony is also that Nikola Tesla's own capabilities were just as unlimited. He even spoke, insightfully, of creating entire planets out of nothingness. Even here, while remaining still rather obscure, we do have our own modern version of endlessly marvellous ancients.

We are all still on a voyage of another cycle of learning and growth.

In all fairness, Mr. Von Daniken has long had an uncanny sense that something is amiss with history, and an amazing gift for spotting out-of-place artifacts that don't fit the patterns of conventional history. At the very worst, he is like a blind man who has never seen a horse, doesn't know what a horse it, but can draw horses, and pick the winning horses in a horse race half the time anyway. Maybe not "science" per se, but then again he makes logical predictions, and they are often confirmed. That is science, and it's downright incredible, actually. Even more so if it should truly be said he's not a scientist. Were it not for his "Chariots--" sowing the seeds of curiosity into my youth and probably setting the stage for the world's readiness to recieve the messages of Cydonia, I wouldn't be writing these words. I wouldn't be anything or anyone I'd recognize, or like. Yet, we must go beyond this, and many others...)

One thing to contend with as possible signs of Venusian colonization is our rich legacy of astronomical alignments and iconographies that honor Venus, and calendrical systems that could be Venusian ones. As Mr. Hoagland pointed out, when he went to look for a table of Earthrises on Mars, there wasn't one, because no one had had a need for one. Would there have been any need for calendars which can be used with the Venusian year for a people who had never been on Venus, or who did not hope to perhaps return there one day?

(Much of what I have had to say about Mars in the pages of this site centers around the fact that if the creators of Cydonia were trying to communicate with us, that they should be trying to call us there, to provide for us, and to give us the tools to rebuild their world in the event that something happened that may well be what did. Deep down we may all know this just as much as we hope this every time an ancient tomb is opened, or a site is excavated.)

It's also a good day for fragments of the theories of catastrophists. Combine the anomalous history of mankind which seemingly requires alien interference to account for the "spontaneous" appearance of the Egyptians and Sumerians and the level of the development of their culture with a catastrophe which required their migration from Venus to the neighboring Earth, which has not had to suffer the meteoric bombardment which scars the face of Mars.

Not surprisingly, there is that exploding planet, the one which may have left the massive asteroid belt beyond Mars; exploding planets have also worked their way into Hoagland's webpage presentations. There's also room for the groundwork theory, that those who might have left Mars and Venus would be able to provide for their eventual return, because having mastered the energetic geometry of planetary forces whose instability might have destroyed a planet in the solar system, they were in a position to see the destruction of that world coming from a long ways away in time (and probably very near to a position of being almost able to stop it). It's very unlikely to have surprised them, and this may also account for any truth to the proposition that they arrived here safely, in plenty of time, as the Egyptians and Sumerians.

There's almost a coherent story here, even without invoking the countless legends of the native people who deserve immense amounts of respect as culture bearers and culture keepers.

There's another thing, also. The accounts of this time of cataclysm may be roughly the time of another cataclysm, Atlantis. Could the perishing land that our ancestors escaped from be Venus? In some ways, this already makes an incredible amount of sense. Being a believer in past-life regression (to some degree I have have studied the chemistry of past-life regression), one wonders why there were so many- too many!- Atlanteans from a past life, but no Venusians. This may be too weird for the weirdest of us to grapple with, but the question will not go away. Could Atlantis have been Venus? Even the etymology of "Atlantis" itself could be made to imply this, several times over: "Atl (water) anti (not)"- "not alot of water there"- not an island, but a world living world, lacking in water- Venus? Or "A (not) tellan" (Earth) (as in telluric, a form of terra?), "not the Earth". Maybe I'm clutching at straws on this one, and maybe these clues are as sound as those to any other solution to Plato's challenging puzzle.

Could Atlantis' sister city, the fabled Lemuria, still bearing to this day the "Mars" root- Lemuria- have somehow been how thousands of years have managed to preserve fragments of memories and histories of a catastrophe-stricken civilization on Mars?

Something to consider here is that Plato's Atlantis with it's nine-ringed central feature could easily be a planetary allegory- an ancient but knowledgable reference to the orbits of the nine planets around their central sun.

(I hate to throw out one of those dreaded "Von Danikenisms" at anyone, but come to think of it, why couldn't Noah's Ark have been in reference to fugitives from a neighboring planet pounded by debris? Judging by the art on Venus depicting animals and the feline-simian-human face of Cydonia, any refugees may have had animals to bring with them... or bring back to earth with them, perhaps beloved pets, or breeds that had become unique to those worlds.)

To tell you the truth, I had a recurring dream between the ages of twelve and twenty. I dreamed I was on some other world, and suddenly Jupiter loomed so huge in the sky I was sure it was flying straight toward the world I stood on- how like some of the theories of the catastrophists. I felt as if the world I knew had gone mad. In some of the dreams, volcanos began to erupt, and people took cover for their lives. In one dream, I turned over a boat in the water and got underneath it because huge streamers of lava were spraying out of a volcano like rain, falling all around me. When I lifted up the boat, I was on the earth, and I was safe. The humble craft had delivered me to the safety of a bright world where the elements were at peace.

I have been an interpreter of dreams on many levels for many years now, and an avid student of symbolism. These are the only dreams I have ever encountered to which I could not assign a satisfactory meaning. Symbolism does not apply easily, and produces no pertinent interpretations. If the residency of humans on a nearby world shaken by disaster is in our genetic memory, or the memory of past lives- the "akashic record"- these dreams, too -and the visions of others- might finally make sense.

Returning to the more conventional and concrete, there may also be a great deal of merit to exploring these issues in terms of not only the possible discovery of their terraforming tools, in addition to the terraforming magick and technology that has been explored in many of the Mars pages here, but how they got here, and the fact that they may have arrived here in several different ways, may provide that there were ships, some of which may be on this earth, and some which may remain on Mars or Venus.

One reason I am saying so is because the "city" or "enclosure" in part nine of this series that I have named "the Lyre", may have the telltale artificial bilateral symmetry, but the feature that in fact bisects it is would be something like sitting a flagpole parallel to the ground, only a much larger and heavier piece of stone. While these do originally come from radar images and not optical ones, there seems to be no local added shadow to suggest it is a wall or a ground feature, but there is one underneath the "bow" of this object. The rear feature is more like the fin of a ship, or part of an emitter array. Indeed, it seems like an electrode or antenna.

This in spite of much speculation in this "Grail Under the Double Rainbow" series about the hyperdimensional physics or Tesla's scalar physics allowing, as Tom Bearden implies, teleportation, that maybe there were simply always those who preferred a different route. How many more ancient ships might there be on Venus? If we cannot go there to get one, could we succeed in signalling a still-operative craft to come to us? We do after all have many clues to the technology that they may have used here, and as the petroglyphs in Part Six of "The Monuments of Venus" imply , there may be many more clues on the face of Venus.

Moreso, the very logistic questions that pertain to the authenticity of the Venus artifacts entire still persist as difficult questions.

It might be easy enought to tentatively presume that NASA faked some photos in order to generate a large public sentiment to gain support to send a manned mission there for a close look, brushing around the fact that if their integrity is in question, sending them for a closer look at something that wasn't even meant to be viewed from close up might be somewhat lacking in wisdom.

If you consider that the point of this would be in the interest of colonization, will we be colonizing a museum the size of a planet? It may be "sacred ground". That this may make Mars more than ever the planet of choice for a manned mission and possible colonizing tends to sound contrary to any motives for falsifying these images.

There's also the fact that falsification of Venus images could have served a purpose by showing things far more alien and contemporary in order to fortify the UFO mythology and mystique that has long served as a foil for their own capabilities in testing advanced, "UFO-like" spacecraft design, such as Alan Holt's feild resonance propulsion which was published in a NASA journal decades ago.

I've seen these lights in the sky that turn at impossible angles at extremely high speeds even in formation myself many years ago, not far from Fairchild AFB, where even Mom was having mysterious lights stall her car on dark roads late at night working graveyard, and I'm still convinced they were using Alan's technology.

The greatest reason for "UFO" secrecy, is that these mysterious lights are indeed our own, though they aren't much availed for peacetime purposes, while we still aren't that far from the most primitive category of space propulsion possible in the open public arena of space propulsion.

All told, it really may be more sensible to publically talk about investigating the possibility of bringing any vehicular artifacts to us by "remote control", as odd as it may sound at first.

One other reason that the ship possibility may be appropriate here, is that even in the "worst case" scenario where Venus might have always been so obscured by clouds, a few landforms on Mars may be a message or a beacon, but the incredible number that appeared to be on the cloud-cloaked planet may be far more on the order of long standing sentiments about large figures for the Nazca lines- they may be navigational landmarks set up to serve many people travelling frequently at a considerable altitude.

The messages of the Venus monuments may be incidental, perhaps like out own incredibly mathematical ancient terrestial monuments, but they give the appearance of a civilization that travel in many ships, at great altitudes, often. Where would those manyships be now?

What if "The Lyre" is one of those ships? What if there are more of them? What if the technology in them is still a light-year beyond out own "secret" government spacecraft projects, NASA's Alan Holt's Field-Resonance Propulsion System? What if such ships are capable of teaching us any "final" secrets of interstellar flight that we're not already aware of, and secrets of producing power without pollution or waste with elegant simplicity, the fruits of thousands of years of technological development which we do not openly and publically, or secretely and privately, possess the equal of? Our own science is the result of roughly only a mere two centuries of serious persuit of knowledge.

Something else that may be a ship is the object in the upper right of Liz Edward's Martian South Polar City, and possibly it's corresponding object in the Martian city's twin on Venus. Conservatively, it might be some kind of "Martian Bulldozer", the sort of thing that might be used to build things like the Cydonia face and the D&M pyramid without manpower, but that alone is some impressive equipment.

There are three or four discs on the left side casting shadows as if they are suspended in the air on beams. Perhaps these are landing pads, and perhaps they are part of a ship's propulsion system? What if it is a powerful spaceship also?

I have now added to Part Six of "The Monuments of Venus" a comparison of that city and it's identical twin on Venus, which may be identical right down to the possible ship in the Martian city.

Do we even know that the spaceship spotted in images of the sun, that can be found from Liz Edward's "I Wonder Productions" web page, aren't alien ships already discovered by the government powers of earth, being taken for a test drive? Could NASA have really missed all of what has stared them in the face for at least half a decade?

I am merely speculating of course, but why shouldn't these questions be asked, and these things considered? Those who trusted us to look up on the Cydonian face in goodwill without the fear they were putting knowledge and powers into our hands that "the world wasn't ready for" (ready or not, these things happen), just might in their own way have left us the keys to the universe. That is what in his own way Richard Hoagland has long implied.

One other thing worth mentioning would be what the possible previous natural occurance of three inhabitable planets might do to demonstrate that the likelihood of finding habitable planets in even nearby solar systems could be far greater than was ever previously thought. There's a lot of promise and potential there even without adding the discussion of the many possible ways to render inhospitable worlds capable of supporting life as we know it. It is indeed revolutionary.

Besides a lot of artifacts from those "boring old dead Egyptians", this might be what we stand to gain from the images that show us former life on our sister planet- we may indeed stand to gain the universe!
