• Train, postal bus and tram (4) to Lauterbrunnen, Gimmelwald, Murren, Birg and top of the Schilthorn (~10,000 feet, directly across from the Jungfrau)
• Hike along Grandfather's Walk from Murren to Grutschalp (~3 miles), quite possibly one of the most scenic hikes one could experience
• Funicular to Lauterbrunen
• Postal bus to Trummelbach Falls
• Walk through Lauterbrunen Valley to Lauterbrunen (~2 miles)
• Train to Interlaken

Monday, July 14

• Train to Wengen
• Tram to the Mannlichen
• Hike along Grandmothers's Walk (~3 miles, partly in the rain) to Kleine Scheidegg and to the Eiger Glacier (1 mile), with awesome views of the Eiger, the Monch and the Jungfrau
• Trains to Kleine Scheidegg, Grindelwald, and Interlaken (boarded first train at the Eiger Glacier station above Kleine Scheidegg, on the rail line that goes to near the top of the Jungfrau; heavy rain in Grindelwald)

Tuesday, July 15

• Train to Meiringen and Brienz (walked around Brienz)
• Boat to Giessbach Falls and Funicular to the hotel
• Hike to Iseltwald (~4 miles)
• Boat to Interlaken
