It must be remembered that the tools used in the practice of magick are not necessary for achieving your desired results, they are merely used to assist you and as a means of focus. The tools themselves contain very little magick, other than what YOU have empowered them with. Any true Witch knows that the most important and powerful tool they possess, is their own mind. Therefore, if anyone ever tells you that you HAVE to have certain tools before you can practice Magick, they are ignorant of the true essence of Witchcraft. Don't get me wrong, I myself use various tools in my rituals, but only for practical purposes (such as a knife for cutting herbs), or for focusing my mental energies (such as casting a circle with a wand).
