Venter's World Man By Rick Marriner |
|
Plot me a genome, sequence me a life. Skim cream from the gene pool, please map me a man Sell access to perfection, slow to age, long to love, never to fade in color, Entrepreneurial Bio-med Man! |

Author's Note |
This immature Iambic Pentameter is a folly of a poem to mark note of Dr. J. Craig Venter and his quest to privately map the 3 billion chemical units that make up Human DNA. The author extrapolates satirically and with an eye for free market economics in which the businessman-biochemist will one day use his discovery to manufacture and perfect people for the highest bidder. |
