Meeting For Field Service 1

In many territories, it is quite difficult to talk to receptive householders. Sometimes, when we do find someone at home, they may be rude or unwilling to talk. We may even share in the ministry for hours at a time, without finding a kind person to talk to.

This situation could be very discouraging, but it is very important for us to realize that a day in the ministry is never a wasted day. Here are a few things that we accomplish whenever we share in the field ministry:

1. People in their homes may be hiding, yet they still saw us. They probably even said God’s name.

2. We encourage one another.

3. We prove Satan a liar, and at the same time make Jehovah's heart glad. (See Proverbs 27:11).

4. We fulfill Bible prophecy. (See Matthew 24:14).

5. We obey Jesus' command. (See Matthew 28:19,20).

6. Jehovah sees that we are doing what He asks. (See Hebrews 6:10).

7. We warn the wicked.

Let's keep these things in mind in our ministry, especially when we our message doesn't fall on listening ears.
