After reaching the top of Nevada Fall, we encounter a flat, sandy section to the Little Yosemite Valley campsite. For those who make the hike to Half Dome a two-day hike, this is where they would set up camp. We didn't want to carry 50 lbs of extra weight with us so we opted for the one day death march. We are now a little over half way to the top.
There was a beautiful lake at the campsite, the water a clear emerald hue against the azure sky. Even my amateur photography skills couldn't mess this one up.
