Other Castanedians
Persons not directly associated
with Castaneda
Tomas is probably
a fake name of an anonymous Castanedian author who has written two fine
books. In my oppinion the only true Castanedian author who is not directly
associated with Castaneda. His book 'The Promise of Power' contains a large
crossreference of Castanedas work with almost ten thousand references.
His other book, 'Creative Victory', contains poetic affirmations for 'the
warrior who rests', which is what he calls the practitioner who saves and
conserves energy.
Victor
Sanchez
A Castaneda influented
author and practitioner who has written two books. He is not, however,
strictly
castanedian. Very interesting books, the first one, 'Teachings of don Carlos',
contains alot of practical aspects of Castanedas teachings, especially
on saving energy. He has got a webpage somewhere.
Ken Eagle Feather
Claims to have been
taught by don Juan, although he says that his teacher never stated his
name. He describes alot of his own experiences, mostly dreaming, and his
books have some interesting stuff.
Marilyn Tunneshende
She is known to have
been interrupting Castanedas public seminars claiming to be the 'real nagual
woman'. Some info about her is available on the net, both interviews and
pages she have made herself.
Margaret Evelyn
Runyan Castaneda
Former 'wife' of Castaneda.
She have written a book about her life with Castaneda before he met don
Juan, "A Magical Journey with Carlos Castaneda". May be of some interest
if you wish to know something about the person Carlos Castaneda,
which I don't. Castaneda (or Cleargreen Inc) have issued a lawsuit against
her for publishing this book.
