I can never share my walk with others so that they can clearly understand. I merely can state that I have walked now on both sides of the fence: 1) not being saved and having no clear understanding of a God; 2) now being saved over 13 years of my 39 as of this date. IF I could change one thing, I would of asked God into my life many years earlier than I did; knowing what I know and feel now. Praise God for His Grace, Mercy and Love like no other known to man.
Men fear the unknown and speak foolishly of things they do not understand. Until you ask God into your life and let the Holy Spirit direct you -- you will not clearly understand what we "Christians" have come to know, love, and have faith in. Most humans can believe, trust, and hold on to things they can see or touch -- only because they see it or know it's alive. But when your boyfriend, girlfriend, or spouse is not around you every waking minute -- do you not still trust and believe in them? Have faith and ask God into your life. We never know when our time is up.
If you are not sure you believe -- ask God to show you. He, like all teachers -- loves to help, and teach the truth. I can not think of a soul who has told me "I wish I never asked Him in" or who has any regrets that they did. Remember "God" is truth, peace, love -- unlike any human has known, and He is patient. He accepts us as we are. Loving us no matter what we have done. He is there for the asking -- never forcing Himself on anyone. It's your choice!!
