Where I Am From:
I am originally from Canada. I live here now too. But in between my birth and now (well ... actually up to a couple of decades ago) I lived all over the place!! My Dad worked with the UN, so we got to travel all over the place!

Here's a picture of me and my 16-year-old nursemaid. Her name was Ya-Ya. I think that's a kinda cool way to hold babies or wee-ones as you go around doing work.

The first four years of my life were pretty much spent in Ghana, West Africa. This is an "action shot" of me on the beach. According to family lore, I adored being on the beach -- we'd go there pretty much every day. I'd sit and play in the sand for hours and hours. My first sentence was uttered at a change-room hut on this beach. I always arrived at the beach ready to play (note the brief attire). I would have to wait for everyone else to change. Even then, not being the most patient person, I apparently, kicked or slapped the door and said: "Open this door!!" -- because I wanted to get to the freedom of the beach on the other side. If you knew me now, you'd know that sounds like me -- just a weeee bit impatient. The Good Lord knows that's true!!

From about age 8 to 10, we lived in Tehran, Iran. This was still when the Shah was in power ... and Western ways were encouraged in Iran. While living here, we went to British Schools -- so we all developed thick British accents. To this day, because of my early schooling I still have a limey accent. It comes out much stronger when I'm nervous, or when I speak to a Brit.

This is a picture of one of my older sisters (I have three), my father, myself, and then my Aunt Ruth. I have her name as my middle name. She is my dad's older sister. Doesn't she look like a groovy older lady? I like her leopard shirt, dangly belt and groovy glasses. I laugh over those peg-legs of mine. Can you tell I had been taught social graces like my sister yet? LOLOLOLOL

I work in Sales at a small software company

What Is my Favourite Food?
This really depends on my mood. Cuisine from many places interest me -- I particularly like Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, Indian and Northern African. Plop me in front of a plate of stew and mashed potatoes and I am equally as happy though. I am known to be a staunch coffee drinker (a.k.a. gogo-juice), however I have been toying with tea recently thanks to IB's and Suzi86's influence.

On Monday, April 5th, 1999 at 8:30 AM EST, I was sitting at my desk, at work talking on the phone with a friend. I couldn't stop crying and laughing -- I felt so much emotion it was difficult to express everything.

Ramblings:
While I was stumbling towards the Lord, I found the greatest area of difficulty for me was with regard to Faith. A simple thing, if you have it. It was the thing I had, and still do have difficulty with. That is why I decided to start this site. While searching for my path in life, I found the testimonies that others shared with me to be completely refreshing. Perhaps others will find it equally so.
