3. Place the shiny side of the paper (i.e. the plastic coated side) on the wrong side of the fabric. Generally, it is best to place the long axis of the pattern on the bias of the fabric.

4. Preheat the iron to the cotton setting. Press the pattern onto the fabric. The plastic coating will adhere the pattern to the fabric.
