The middle ages are said to have been a superstitious time, where ignorant people believed in witchcraft or fantastic monsters. Many movies have been inspired by this. The medium of animated cartoons leems to have lent itself quite readily to this genre. Some film makers have been inspired to mix science-fiction concepts with medieval cultures. Sometimes these films turned out wonderfully, sometimes they really stunk. Regardless, I tried to list all those movies here.
