Charismatic Aura (4 point merit)

You may use this Merit whenever an individual wishes to use a power against you, even a passive one such as Aura Perception that does not require a Challenge. You may preempt this action with a Social Challenge of your own. If successful, your opponent will not attempt to Challenge or affect you for the remainder of the current scene. If your opponent wishes to challenge you again during this time, he must first spend a Willpower Trait. However, if any of these attempts fail, that individual must spend another Willpower Trait before trying again. Although, if you undertake any obviously hostile actions or initiate any direct attacks, the effect fades immediately.
