His "actual message" is for us to appreciate and make the best of every moment of our lives, to understand that we have power, we have energy, and his music, message, ideals, ethos, all of these come together when we listen to his music and we can extract these things from within ourselves. His message has inspired movements, created a community, online and off, and brought hope and happiness to people all over the world. To criticize him for not having a message is ridiculous since Andrew W.K. has the most optimistic, productive, and accessible message in years. That is why this site exists, that is why the AWKRA exists, that is why his fans exist, and that is why his critics exist. There is no wrong interpretation as Andrew has stated in interviews but he also stated that those who criticize him should get out of the way because he, like his fans and the AWKRA, are not stopping...ever.

We wish today to inform you that we have been contacted by the President of Island Records and that an official explanation for the disappearance of the website will be provided soon from the media department of Island Records. Many have written now about the fight in LA. So here is what happened, Phil, and AWKRA member and his friend (who joined us after the show) were involved in a fight with other Andrew W.K. fans. One fan said some very negative comments about Andrew W.K. and was then punched several times by Phil. This was a simple case of defending the honor of our savior. No charges were filed, no further contact was made between the parties involved. The AWKRA stands behind Phil and supports the fight -- we do want to be very clear however that this attack was provoked and that we do not recommend "starting" fights. It makes us look bad, which is bad for Andrew W.K.

The site is not yet complete, we have yet to add video, music, and the looping "Party Hard" but all of these tasks will be executed. Many of you eagerly await phase two to commence again, we can assure you it will because it already has! We will be adding the protest times that we received this week and will be sending out instructions to some of our more militant sects.

Island Records has done it now. They found out that we knew the previous incarnation of andrewwk.com was still online at a different address, and what do they do? They remove it. Why? Because they found out that we were going to hack into their sytem and reinstate it ourselves. Before we could, they took it away from us, from you. Now is the time to voice your opinon, let them know it will NOT fucking stand! We are pissed!

We were able to locate his biography online at Island records, but they will of course remove that soon as well. It seems they will not stop until their own artist is silenced.Well, we will not be slienced.
