The Dragon Weyrs
SILVER NIMBULAN ORIONTH

This is Orionth, my lovely silver Nimbulan dragon! He is a silver male, the highest ranking of the males. He grew again! He is an adult now and so beautiful! We've not flown thread, but we also hope we never have to! Thread is not due to return for 50 more Turns, so we are pretty safe, for now!

Orionth is lovely and quite eligible to mate, but he has chosen not to thus far. He's as independant as I am! We bath in the lake every day (I swim while HE bathes!) and sit down at night for long, nice oilings! He loves to have is belly oiled because his skin dries out fastest there. He isn't growing anymore, so he'll finally stop pealing! There is nothing like a dragon shedding layers of skin to mess up a weyr! *S*

But, through all his guff and individualism, I love him. I'll be with him always as his guardian and keeper and soulmate! Truely I could love no one more - never have a bond like ours with anyone! Male dragons with female riders have been known to be arguementative with their riders and other dragons, but not dear Orionth! He is just as smooth in life as he is in flight!

We finally completed weyrling training and have a steady job ferrying spices over the Ocean between continents. Most people hate the tedious hours of flying, because you cannot go Between, or teleport, with spice or any foods. They would freeze in the unearthly cold of Between. But we love the route - just us, together, and the open sea! Orionth loves water and so do I! Some people say 'Like rider, like dragon', and with us that is definately proven! We both like the simple life of dragonriding and flying - no responsibility except for our cargo and the open air forever! *S*
