Shindrath's Weyr

Little Shindrath here is a Fire Dragon. She's a new arrival and she was quite a while coming! You've heard of babies being switched at the hopital? Well, little Shindrath was lost for quite a while - put in with the wrong clutch so I couldn't find her when I went to pick her up! But, everything was worked out with some hunting and a little yelling, and finally she came here to stay!

Right now she is the most active of dragons - she's a juvenile and she never sleeps! Quite a contrast from her hatchling days. Also, she eats so much! Whenever she is not running all around the weyr getting in everyones way, she is eating everything in sight! But not to worry, our cooks have it under control, making lots of fresh fish - her favorite food - charred almost to charcoal the way she loves them. She also has another dragon here helping her through her awkward phase. Alquenth, the Water Dragon in Weyr #87, is her mentor and helper. He's an adult and knowns his stuff pretty well. We think maybe they have a future together, if they can work out their Fire/Water differences! Wish young Shindrath luck!

Here is Shindrath as a baby, just hatched. All she did was sleep! She also had the sniffles a lot and when she sneezed things tended to o up in smoke! *L*
