To all Residents of B-4 Block- Free Intercom Facility on all MTNL Phones in B-4 Block

I am glad to inform you that the MTNL has agreed to provide the Residents of our Association who have MTNL phone, with free intercom facility without any charges under their CENTREX SCHEME. Besides, they will also provide us with two free phones for intercom- one at our Entry Gate & one at our Exit Gate which are manned by our chowkidars. Within 2 weeks or so the residents will be able to talk to each other free of cost on MTNL phones. However, those who do not have MTNL phones cannot be offered this facility. Salient features of this scheme are:

(i)There will be no change in the existing phone numbers

(ii)Residents within the B-4 Block having MTNL phones will be able to talk to each other without any charges on the same instrument.

(iii)There are no hidden charges. Also there is no increase in pulse rate or fixed rental charges of these phones. It is clarified that there will be no extra rental or call charges whatsoever.

(iv)A four digit code will be allotted to every resident for talking on intercom within B-4 Block. The intercom numbers are generally relatable to house numbers and floor numbers

(v)For dialing outside numbers the residents will have to dial “0” first to get the Dial Tone. The call charges for outside calls will be same as in the past.

(vi)Each resident must give details for each phone in the attached proforma & sign it.

(vii)Centrex facility can be extended to new subscribers of MTNL also. Also anyone can withdraw from the scheme any time.

(viii)If you are interested to get a new MTNL phone you may collect MTNL Application Form from Mr Anil Thappar(Mob: 98680-74252 or his wife Mrs Pushpa Thappar (B-4/90/2) Ph 26167979. Mrs Pushpa Thappar (Mob: 98688-99887)works for MTNL at Sanchar Haat, Bhikaji Cama Place & she will get everything done on your behalf & new phone will be installed within 3 days. You just need to fill the form, attach ID proof, address proof & 2 passport size photos & give a sum of Rs 500/ by cash or by DD to Mr or Mrs Thappar. For any clarifications regarding new phone connection or Centrex Scheme you may contact Mr or Mrs Thappar.

Kindly fill the various details asked for in the attached sheet for availing the free intercom facility. Please take care to ensure the following things:

a)The name mentioned has to be same as given in your telephone bill

b)The CA No. (ie Customer Account No.) should be same as given in the bill

c)Kindly enclose any past bill or its photocopy
