Excel formulas (including sample questions):

I have grouped the formulas' section into the main formula type. (I will be expanding this when I get more time)

Text Manipulation - when you want to extract portions of text values or change the way the text looks.

Math formulas - there are so many functions here that I simply cannot summarize it in one sentence (see for yourself).

Logic Formulas - when you need to perform calculations that are dependent upon whether certain conditions are true or false.

Working with data - when you are working with large tables of data and you need to summarize them.

Information - when you need information about a cell in your worksheet.

Lookup & Reference - when you want to find a value in a data table or want to find a cell reference.
