For finding what you need quickly, I recommend pressing Ctrl + F on Netscape (find). Type in one keyword and hit enter. For example, if you are looking for something on the Caravan, enter the word "Caravan." Wording may differ on my site (i.e. I don't call the Force Sword the Holy Sword).

Q: There are two chests I cannot access. One is in the Mitula Shrine on a floating island, the other is in the Prism Flowers Battle. How do I access them? What's inside them?
A: Unfortunately, in the American version of the game, you cannot open these two chests at all.

Q: Where can I find ROMs for Shining Force II?
A: I do not have any ROMs on my site, but go to my links section. Some of the sites there have ROMs.

Q: Where can I purchase Shining Force II?
A: There aren't that many places, as the game is getting old. See "Buying the Game."

Q: Where can I find the Arm of Golem?
A: The Arm of Golem is in Maun. Click here for instructions on how to receive the arm.

Q: How do I get the Wooden Panel? The Achilles Sword? The Caravan?

Q: Where do I get the Force Sword?

Q: Where can I find the Right of Hope? The Life Ring?
A: The Right of Hope, like the Life Ring, was edited out of the English version of Shining Force 2. The ROH is like Healing Water in that it restores the full MP of a character. The Life Ring returns HP to the wearer every turn in a battle. However, you may get these items by using GenEdit.

Q: I can't get the Force Sword. How do I get it?
A: To receive the Force Sword, you must walk up to the Force Sword, which is stuck in the stone. Press the "A" button. Select "Search" and then you will receive the Force Sword.

Q: What level can I promote my characters at?
A: The minimum level for promotion is level 20. However, if you let your characters build up to, say, level 24, then they will be stronger when they are promoted.

Q: How do I promote my characters to the special classes?
A: First, you must find the special promotional item. (click here for promotional items list) Make sure one of your party members is carrying it, then go ask the priest to promote your character. He should ask you if you want to promote the character to the special class.
