In His Own Write

In His Own Write

This is John Lennon's first book, published in 1964 by Simon and Schuster.

DISCLAIMER

This is for entertainment purposes only. I have transcribed these pages with no intent of copyright infringement. Just as song lyrics are shared on the internet, I wanted to share these stories as well.

I purchased this original copy of In His Own Write for $50 American currency, not knowing what I was purchasing other than something written by John Lennon. Had he not been a Beatle, I would have never been exposed to the stories herein.
And had I not been such a Beatles fanatic, I would have never looked twice at this book.

The sole purpose of this webpage is to share the genius of Lennon with those unfamiliar with the non-musical writings of John Lennon to his other talent. These stories are clever and very funny, and very underrated by the general public.

I have not included the corresponding artwork that accompanies each story. For that, you must find your own copy. I merely wish to get you hooked on his writings, as I am.

That said, enjoy!
