The internet is simply flooded with "best" and "worst" album cover listings.  I've listed a couple of the more fascinating ones at the bottom of the page.  I certainly don't bring anything special to the field of artistic criticism, but that doesn't stop me from adding my keen insights to the fray.  Click on the cover photo to see a detailed review of the work, or click on the link at the bottom of the page to return to the home page.

Here are a couple of comments I've recently received:

Just checking out your website. You might be interested to know that the art director on the Aja album cover was my good friend Frank Mulvey, who is sitting next to me right now at EB's bar in LA. Another fascinating fact - one of the hired designers on the project was comedian Phil Hart, who was murdered by his wife in 1998.

You should have picked the Buffalo Springfield LP instead of the Aftermath one.

You're absolutely right.  In fact it was on the original list that I had up, but somehow got lost when I converted to the new format.  Anyhow, it's back now.  Scott BadCat Records

Thanks for including Epitaph for a Legend in your favorite album cover art. I'm the artist, designer of this work. I'm actually a bass player, engineer, producer, song writer and designer. I played bass with Burton Cummings from the Guess Who's solo records from 1976 till 1986 also played bass on Randy Bachmans solo album Survivor and did a lot of session work in LA during the 70's and 80's. I now own 2 companies that design and manufacture professional audio equpment www.boutiqueaudio.com and www.treeaudio.com.

I did alot of producing for International Artists Records when owner Leland Rogers (Kennys brother) ressurected the label in the 70's. He knew I drew a bit and asked me to do this cover (his idea not mine, lol) of a church with the headstones and a picture of the Houston skyline in the background. It seems this record is now a collector's item and I've seen it on many Google searches. Thanks again.
