Lieutenant Scott Higgins

The town of Brunswick has a moderate population that is on the rise. The Fire Department likes to keep up with an atmosphere of friendliness when it comes to Public Relations. Lieutenant Scott Higgins is a Part-Time Lieutenant that deals mainly with the 4 Elementery schools in Brunswick, teaching the 'Learn Not To Burn' Program and other safety programs regarding children and fire safety, including involvement with the Juvenile Firesetter Program.

Lt. Higgins is also an Intermediate Emergency Medical Technician, and maintains many of the same duties that a career (full-time) Firefighter does. With his assistance, the Department maintains a good and friendly image with the public.

Together with the Brunswick Police Department and the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) program,
the town of Brunswick looks toward a better generation of youth.
