I couldn't have done this without the Ice-Cream tutorial
by Amy at Blue Daffodils Domain. Thank you, Amy!
I can't find a current link to her site, so if anyone knows what it is,
please let me know so that I can provide it. Thanks!

I made my cone using her tutorial, and the ice cream from her tubes.
I am simply showing a method of animating the ice cream
with a drip running down the cone.
**********

Step 1 I have the ice cream and cone saved as a tube file. Download the zipped file by clicking here. Unzip the file into your Tubes folder.

Step 2 Open Paint Shop Pro. Open a new image with these settings (below):

Step 3 Using the Picture Tube tool, select the icecreampink tube, adjust the scale to 80%, and place it in the center of the new image.

Step 4 Add a new layer by selecting Layer > New Raster Layer. Name it drip, select OK.

Step 5 Use the Eyedropper tool to select some of the pink from the ice cream for your foreground color. Mine was #E6708B.

Step 6 Select the Paint Brush tool with the following settings:

Be sure you are on the "drip" layer and paint a small drip at the top edge of the cone.

Step 7 Select Layer>Duplicate to make a copy of the drip. On the "Copy of drip" layer, use the Paint Brush tool to make the drip longer.

Step 8 Select Layer>Duplicate to make a copy, repeating step 7 to extend the drip further down the cone.

You've now got all of the necessary components for your animation.

Step 9 Make sure your layers are in the same order as this (below) and that all are visible.

This is what each of the layers should look like:

Save it as a .psp file.

Step 10 Open Animation Shop (select File > Jasc Software Products > Launch Animation Shop). Use Animation Wizard with the following selections:

- Same size as the first image frame > Next

- Transparent > Next

- Upper left corner of the frame > With the preceding frame's contents > Next

- Yes, repeat the animation indefinitely > 12/100th of a second > Next

- Add image > select your .psp file > Next > Finish

Step 11 Enlarge if necessary so that all four frames are visible.

Step 12 I had selected 12/100th as the frame animation speed, but decided that was too fast. Place your cursor on the image in the second frame and right-click. Select Frames Properties and increase the speed to 15. Select OK. It slows it down just a bit. Move your cursor to the third frame and change the speed to 15 also. Since I wanted it to pause on the last frame, I changed the speed on the fourth frame to 50.

Step 13 Select View > Animation. There it is! If you want to change the speed of any of the frames, repeat step 12. When you are satisfied with the results, save it as a .gif file. I used the highest quality because the file size is relatively small. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
