Step 1 Open a new image, 125 x 125 pixels, transparent, 16 million colors. Flood fill with your choice of color, I used #DB9861. ![]() Step 2 Select Effects > Noise > Add Noise. Adjust the settings to uniform, 75%, monochrome is unchecked. Select OK. ![]() Step 3 Select Effects > Texture Effects > Mosaic Antique. Adjust the settings to 25 columns and rows, tile diffusion=50, grout width=2, grout diffusion=50. Select OK. ![]() Step 4 To add a design and to make this a seamless tile, select Effects > Plugins > Simple > Pizza Slice Mirror. You're done! Save it as a .gif file and it's ready to use as a background for your web page or stationery. ![]() Here are examples using different flood-fill colors and adjusting the percentage of noise: ![]() ![]() ![]() Your results will be slightly different because when you apply Noise, it's always a bit different.
