Weyrling [Weyr] [Search] [Candidacy] [Hatchling] [Weyrling] [Adult] [Stats] [Journal] [DragonSoul Weyr] "I really don't see why I'm treated like this all the time," Kessa sighed to Jiasath, rubbing oil into her lifemate's hide vigirously. "I mean, I guess I am... I got you and all, but somehow it seems like everyone's making an overly big deal about it." Do you not think that you are special? The white demanded. I am the first white ever hatched at Dragon Soul Weyr, and you are the second whiterider! Storm transferred here, didn't she? "Yes, Storm transferred, I think," Kessa said. "But I'm not sure." She continued to rub, still amazed that such a wonderful dragon had chosen her. And it wasn't just because Jiasath was a white. It was simply because Jiasath was Jiasath. Suddenly, an idea struck her. "Jiasath," Kessa said, "Have you thought about transferring to another Weyr? After we graduate, of course. I love it here at Dragon Soul, but... Well, I want to go somewhere that the attention isn't focused on me." Tarizal, The white said. There's two whites there. One's a senior Weyrling, like us. Alingath. Her rider is Asaria. The other is Herminith, and her rider is Erilam. She's a runt, though; hasn't grown in a long time. Are we going to go? "I'm not sure," Kessa pondered. "After all, it's a big descision, and Dragon Soul is nice... Not to mention that.." Not that sharding brownrider again,Jiasath groaned. Kessa, I wish that you wouldn't follow him around so much. He gets on my nerves alot. And he doesn't like me, either. He likes that sharding gold from our clutch. Now it was Kessa's turn to groan. Jaisath, despite the fact that some people considered her a higher rank than the golds, despised any creature that was golden in color. Whether it be runner, dragon, firelizard, or feline, she hated it. "So, oh wonderful white, what brown do you like?" Kessa teased. Just because Jiasath wasn't an adult, it didn't mean that she hadn't already made a few preferances of her own. Not telling. Kessa chuckled softly. "Well, dear, we have enough time to worry about that, don't we?" She asked, and continued to rub oil into Jiasath's hide. TO DRAGON SOUL'S WEYRWOMAN: The reason that this weyrling picture is messed up is that Pagebuilder is being stupid and not uploading the pictures correctly. I'm really sorry! |
