I was reborn one day when I picked up one my dads old Beatle records (Magical Mystery Tour) and I actually sat down and listened to it. Ever since then I have never been the same. I never really listened to good music until then and I started listening to all sorts of Classic rock including Pink Floyd. One day I bought Piper at the Gates of Dawn and I wondered who this mysterious Syd Barrett was? Well after listening to the CD I was infected by it and this was well over 3 years ago. It is still my favorite CD by far and Syd Barrett has redifined my outlook on life so much (Not to mention my Music writing) that all my friends started calling me Syd!

No, you rock. Scarily enough, Syd's music flows very close with my brainwave. I've never heard anything like it. Especially the later stuff, after Pink Floyd. Way freaky! He crossed boundaries and entered a realm that I don't believe can ever really be entered again by anybody. A unique soul in kind of a spooky time. Anyway, thanks for the info!
