ZVETELINA MALDJANSKA

Zvetelina Maldjanska, born in Vratza, Bulgaria, started playing piano at the age of six. In 1994 she graduated the National Medicine Academy in Sofia. At the same time she studied singing with the famous Bulgarian singer Alexandrina Milcheva. In 1994 Zvetelina Maldjanska won scholarship of the Boris Hristov Academy in Rome, where she studied with the conductor of the Rome Opera Sergio Oliva and with the famous singers Nikola Guselev and Alexandrina Milcheva. In 1995 she made her debut on the stage (Rousse Opera, Sofia National Opera). She participated also in concerts with the Philharmonic Orchestras in Plovdiv, Rousse, Schumen, Sofia, Vratza, the National Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Sofia Soloist's chamber orchestra. Zvetelina Maldjanska won various prizes - Hristo Brambarov Competition '95, International Music Competition - Enna, Italy '95 and Prize of the Bulgarian National Radio 1996, International Singing Competition France '98. She performed in Bulgaria, Italy, Israel, Germany, Brazil, United States and others. CD-Recordings with Plovdiv Philharmonic Orchestra, Vidin Philharmonic Orchestra, Sofia National Opera and Sofia Festival Orchestra under the direction of Nayden Todorov.
