The sand dunes shimmer in the subdued lighting; five egg-mounds of Melth and her Kenneith clearly defined.
After the successful bonding of Melth to Kenneith, Yslen has announced from east to west that unbonded dragons are welcome to come. If approved by the parents of the clutch, they may be able to bond with a hatchling.
Even when bonders are found and brought to the dunes, they don't always get chosen by the hatchlings. The hatchlings will choose who they will, sometimes preferring clutchmates or adults to the youths presented them. It's a way of life. They bonded to each other before the humans came, and they aren't going to stop now.
