Pixie, a Calico, and I met when we found her in a garage in Ontario, California with her two kittens, starving and cold (even in California it gets pretty cool) in 1990. The babies were still nursing, so I took them in and took care of them until they were 6 weeks old. My friend Rosanne took the kittens and I took the mom, named Pixie, to be fixed. The vet said she was between 9 months & a year, which then made her about 13 the day she didn't come home, July 19th, 2003.
