EPILOGUE
OUR INCREASE IN KNOWLEDGE IS COMPARABLE
TO THAT WHICH A MAN, INTERESTED IN LEARNING MORE
ABOUT THE MOON, GETS WHEN HE CLIMBS UPON HIS HOUSE
TO CATCH A CLOSER LOOK AT THAT LUMINARY.
Albert Einstein
Although I stopped my "active involvement" in matters pertaining to parapsychology several
years ago, my mind remains open.
I no longer believe the term, "reasonable psychic phenomena", is an oxymoron.
As far as I’m concerned, the exclusivity of Indian Guides that exist somewhere between the
world of the living and the world of the dead is not reasonable.
The existence of ghosts is reasonable.
Ghosts that hang around in the world of the living with the sole purpose of frightening and/or
otherwise harming the living — are not reasonable.
Ghosts that move things, causing them to drop, ghosts that raise and lower window shades,
ghosts that flush toilets — are not reasonable.
To relegate the idea of reincarnation to the realm of the occult — is not reasonable.
To claim there is no way that a person can astral-project — is not reasonable.
To limit the human mind only to the here and now, the solid, substantive things that can be
touched, the proven facts — is a self-inflicted boundary to our souls and minds.
The concept of Satan is not — to me — reasonable. I alone am responsible for my actions, good
or bad.
I accept as reasonable the Witchcraft belief that Jesus did live. I accept that he was one who had
attained perfection — had become and adept — and did not have to return to a life on earth. I believe
he chose to come back, to live another life on earth — for obvious reasons.
I do not accept the idea that he was of virgin birth.
It has been estimated by science that we, as humans, utilize roughly 10% of our brains. If this is
so, it seems vitally important to me that we keep that 10% open to examine and possibly accept intangible
concepts.
I strongly suggest that all of us should consider at least certain aspects of ESP, psychic phenomena,
and other areas of parapsychology — and search for those that seem "reasonable".
An increase of knowledge — available to all open minds — is a most honorable goal.
My heartfelt gratitude is, and always will be, felt toward the Witch, Gundella.
Gundella, you made the trip through my present life far more interesting, rewarding, and content.
I, too, look forward to a time when we will be together again.
Thank you, dear friend
