The Azeri families who have taken shelter in the adjacent refugee camps for the last 8 years are living proof that whether in a wooden shack or an earthen hut, life goes on regardless. And when the going gets rough, the importance of family, blood ties, and unity, grows stronger.
Camp 4 is one of the several refugee camps lined out around the town of Imishli, providing shelter for Azeri families who had to flee their villages after the Armenian troops invaded the region of Ngorno-Karabakh. And inspite of the food shortages, lack of infrastructure, government manipulations, and an uncertain future they continue to celebrate life in hopes of one day returning to their homelands. |
