Les Bons Temps Roule !!

Let the Good Times Roll is the slogan in New Orleas as the city takes on herself weeks long festivities until midnight on Fat Tuesday every year.

Not only the Orleansans but everyone from around the country and across the world swamp this beautiful heaven of free self expression (despite the crime rate, but a rose does come wth thorns) for the festivities.

The crowd gets thicker around the French Quarter as time gets closer to the strike of the clock and "ANYTHING goes" is the rule of the game in New Orleans.

Costumes add color to an already colorful city and improvisations on all walks of music can be heard from almost anywhere. Barbecues are set up and the smell of Gambo is omnipresent, wherever you go.

Exhausted but satisfied those who leave take back memories with them until next year when they return for new ones. In the meantime it is still Les Bons Temps Roule in New Orleans.
