Kaante's Launching Party
20 April 2001, Pritish Nandy Communications launched Kaante,
to be produced and directed by Sanjay Gupta, at a function at The
Leela, Bombay on April 20. The film, starring Amitabh Bachchan,
Sanjay Dutt, Sunil Shetty, Mahesh Manjrekar, Lucky Ali and Kumar
Gaurav, will be shot in New York later this year. The launch
function was attended by prominent film personalities, fund managers
and investment bankers. Screening of a specially-made promotional
trailer and script-reading by the six principal actors were the
highlights of the function.
