FAQ > What education do I need to homeschool? What if I didn't graduate from high school?
Under no circumstances, should you allow yourself to be convinced that you need to be educated to succesfully homeschool. People without a high school diploma have done it and are doing it. Remember, teachers are trained to impart knowledge to a very large group of children in one room. Homeschooling parents do not need those skills. At the most, a homeschooling parent may need to learn how to tutor (if s/he has chosen that educational approach), but even in a family of 10 children, the group orientation skills a teacher has aren't necessary.

What we reccommend is that you first determine what type of learning is best for your child, and which period(s) of the day/night s/he learns best. Also, figure out what kind of time (when and how much) you can spend to homeschool. Once you realise how best your child learns, and what your own situation would allow, find out what would be needed to accomodate that.
